Virtual Reality (VR) Zone

We designed and developed a Virtual Reality (VR) Zone with an objective to educate visitors (largely school students) on solar space, planets and universe. The VR Zone consists of two sections - Zone A and Zone B presenting 8 Oculus Go and 5 Oculus Quests to achieve the mentioned objectives. Each zone has 3 applications with different educational contents, engagement and varied complexities to cater to a wide user group. At this moment, the applications educate visitors on planets, distances from earth and sun, their structures, planet categories and behaviours; solar system including stars, galaxy etc. and exploration to the international space station. The educational contents will be periodically updated in order to provide new knowledge to the visitors.

InViQ - Information Through Visual and Questions

InViQ stands for Information through Visuals and Questions. It is a mobile application that offers an effortless, intuitive and scholarly way to answer all design centric questions. It is a visual-only platform where all the questions are answered by peers and domain experts in an accurate, authenticate and timely manner. InViQ works in 2 simple steps – (i) Take/upload a video or images, (ii) post the question to all InViQ users or dedicated experts to get answers. The need for such a platform arises from non-availability of any design-centric platform that is supported by industry and academic experts. Moreover, other Q&A platforms are text-heavy, which not only demands higher physical effort (e.g. typing) but also increase the cognitive load by asking users to question via accurate and easy-to-understand English. We aim to overcome such challenges by providing a user-friendly visual-only Q&A platform, which does not exist to best of our knowledge. Download the Andriod version of the application to participate and contribute to InViQ.
